Welcome to Rediscovering The Gospel! I am enthusiastic about this new venture into the blogosphere. It is my sincere hope that readers will find the postings informative, inspiring, thought-provoking, and sometimes even a bit provocative (in a helpful way). The ultimate goal of this blog is to glorify God by offering concise writings on the nature of the Christian Gospel and to explore what the Judeo-Christian Scriptures contain regarding this Gospel and its implications for the Church and for Christian life in the 21st century. The Apostle Paul eloquently states the Gospel in 1 Corinthians 15:3-41 Corinthians 15:3-4

3 I told you the most important part of the message exactly as it was told to me. That part is: Christ died for our sins, as the Scriptures say. 4 He was buried, and three days later he was raised to life, as the Scriptures say.

‘Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, he was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures.’ I believe that the Church is in the process of forgetting the Gospel. This blog will discuss some of the ways in which the Church is drifting from the Gospel and how Scripture can bring the necessary correction. Now is the time for the Church to Rediscover The Gospel!

Soli Deo Gloria!
